SEAMEO Regional Language Centre is an educational project of the Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organisation located in Singapore. Since it began operations in July 1968, SEAMEO RELC has worked to develop and support language education in the countries of Southeast Asia. In SEAMEO RELC, we believe that employee training and development are critical for enhancing employee performance and helping them stay relevant and employable.

Job Description Conduct regular patrols and security checks within the hotel premise and report any suspicious, maintenance and/ or hazardous concerns to the Security Manager Provide crowd and traffic control for VIPs and all official events of the Centre Investigate and report all allegations of theft, criminal damage, and other incidents to the Security Manager Prepare Incident Reports pertaining to all safety and security-related incidents after the necessary actions have been taken Manage undesirable behaviour in a professional manner, intervene, and defuse potential altercations Constantly remain updated on fire evacuation procedures, and handle catastrophic situations such as bomb threats and evacuation procedures effectively Oversee carpark operations and render assistance where necessary Assist Front Desk Office with luggage and transport arrangement duties when required Job Requirements Minimum 1-year relevant experience Matured and positive individual with absolute discretion and confidentiality regarding confidential information Ability to maintain a sound sense of judgment in emergency situations Holder of a valid security license issued from the Singapore Police Force Completed WSQ Security module (Provide Guard and Patrol Services, Handle Security Incidents and Services, Recognise Terrorist Threats) Able to commit to rotating shifts including public holidays and weekends. Apply NowJob Description Perform activities for shift duty check-in and check-out for the floor assigned Clean 16 rooms per shift Perform cleaning activities of guest rooms, floor corridors and/or public areas as assigned Check drawers and ensure availability of guest rooms amenities at all times; replenish amenities and supplies in rooms and/or public areas Maintain cleanliness of cleaning carts, ensure sufficient room amenities and supplies in the Attendant’s cleaning cart Ensure room cleanliness adheres to the hotel standards set by the Executive Housekeeper Make beds as per housekeeping required standards Vacuum carpets Dust furniture, fixtures and fittings Replenish coffee/tea supplies Wash shower room, wall tiles, floor tiles, toilet bowls and hand basin Empty all waste bins and replace bin lining Change and replenish towels and toiletries Wash drinking glasses and cups/saucers Clean window glass panels, table glass top and mirrors Send soiled linen to linen room to exchange for fresh linens Throw rubbish at the bin center Inspect rooms and/or public areas to report defects and missing items Ensure all cleaning of electrical equipment used in the course of work are maintained in good working condition Report any loss of and/or damages to linens, furniture, fixtures and/or equipment to the Duty Housekeeping Supervisor Update and complete daily Attendant’s Report for submission to Duty Housekeeping Supervisor Report and turn over lost and found items in accordance to the Organisation’s standard procedures Job Requirements Primary education or equivalent and above Housekeeping experience of 1 year and more Service-oriented and pleasant personality Ability to speak and write Basic English Able to commit to rotating shifts including public holidays and weekends Interested candidates please send your resume to hr@relc.org.sg or contact HR @ 6885 7867 / 9149 3159.
